1. Prior to commissioning, installation and pre-commissioning services are intended to lower risk and prevent time-consuming installation problems. The services include:

• monitoring of on-site mechanical and electrical installation
• Testing of the metre interface and the connections to other systems' communications
• controlling the installation of mechanical and electrical systems on the job site

2. The commissioning process will guarantee accurate data and metre availability. The following are services for commissioning metres:

• Installation and configuration Service Console software (if not already pre-installed)
• Assistance on installation of mechanical and electrical parts, and inspection thereof
• Check of analogue inputs/outputs (where applicable).

3. The system will be tested and compared to specifications by startup/testing services. Evaluate and potential equipment setup adjustments:

• Power-up checks
• Communication and data verification checks
• Calibration and configuration checks
• Validation of meter output at meter start-up
• In-line calibration (if applicable)
